@GIMRvLOGS, To be honest, AT&T doesn’t work that well up here either. I’m in PA. There are certtain places where it’s fantastic, but others where it’s really crappy. I’m probably going to switch to Verizon as well when it comes in January. I had a BlackBerry from Verizon for the longest time, and then when the first i Phone came out I switched. But I’m going to be making a Mac channel soon, you should subscribe/check it out!
@mikeo2222 Thats so awesome…unfortunately AT&T doesnt work well where I live so verizon is what I use…but the new iPhone is gunna come to verizon in January so Ill get it then…yeah the 15′s are pretty sick!
@GIRcLOGS, I’m also excited, because I finally got my hands on an iPhone 4!!!!! If you have AT&T, it’s something you should SERIOUSLY consider! And the 15 inch is great, 2.66 GHz Hard drive, 8 GB of RAM, 500GB Hard Drive. Runs my games without a problem
@mikeo2222 Yeah, I just never got around to doing it, I know I can fix it, just it’s not a huge issue, but once it gets me annoyed enough Im sure Ill do something about it…thanks tho man I appreciate it…and awesome!! I might upgrade soon!
@GIRvLOGS, it’s all good, it can be a taunting task. But, what I do suggest is this. Order a new remote. Most online dealers will charge $19.00-$23.00 for a single button remote. You need to make sure what kind you need to get though. If you look on the back of your opener, and you see a “Green” button, then you order the “LiftMaster 81LM” If it’s “RED”, then order the LiftMaster 971LM. It may say Raynor on it, but it’s all made by LIftMaster.

To re-program your code, go to the back of the motor unit, (remove the white light lens) press the Green circle/square, and with-in 30 seconds, go to your keypad, enter your code, and hold the enter button. The motor lights should “flash” if there are no light bulbs, or if they are burned out, you will hear two clicks, and that’s all there is to it!
Hey man, here’s the deal with your keypad. There are 2 reasons why your keypad may not work, and they are number 1, the code became deprogrammed, or 2, you need a new battery. First, try replacing the battery, and then try re programming the code.

my keypad did work when we first moved in and we always closed it with the button in the car and the button inside the garage, but then one day we were going somewhere and we pushed the button in the car and it went halfway down and came back up so we had to use the keypad, but we had to hold down the enter button for it to go all the way down….so someone told us to spray it with something (i forgot the name of the spray) and it worked…for a wile.

Our keypad is broken as well. I don’t know anyone that has theirs operational. I think the DIY channel is a good idea. As far as a name for the channel I’ll keep thinking on it…maybe ExtremeDIY? I dunno. Thats the first thing that came to mind.
